Whoopi Goldberg is worried she’s being fired from The View!

The actress is said to be convinced boss Barbara Walters won’t be renewing her contract as moderator of the show after Whoopi ripped the New York Times for not listing her Oscar in a story about black actors.

“No one has come to Whoopi offering to extend her contract,” a source source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “But even though she has a ball on the show, Whoopi’s said herself she doesn’t necessarily think she’s a good fit and she’s prepared to ride off into the sunset before she’ll change who she is.

“Barbara’s had scolding words for Whoopi in the past year, yet she isn’t keen to fire her they’re longtime friends and ratings have been decent but she’s definitely tiring of her act.

“In a perfect world, Barbara would like to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck replace Whoopi as the show’s leader/moderator but you can’t really demote Whoopi without dumping her completely, so…”
