Matthew McConaughey has signature cocktail!

Matthew McConaughey has his own signature cocktail.

The 41-year-old actor has developed his own version of the margarita which is traditionally made with tequila mixed with triple sec and lime or lemon juice and he likes to quench his thirst with one at the end of the day.

“I have my own version of the margarita: tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and tonic water, topped off with cranberry juice,” Matthew said.

Matthew who has three-year-old son Levi and 15-month-old daughter Vida with his partner Camila Alves says his favorite time to make his ‘McConaughey margarita’ is when he is cooking in the kitchen.

Just as he has his own cocktail, theTropic Thunder star has created his own special barbecue sauce.

“I like to whip it up when I’m doing my special barbecue sauce for steak,” he said. “It satisfies the taste buds in time for the meat. I love being in the kitchen and cooking generally it fuels my soul man!”
