Evan Rachel Wood is collecting young girls!

The actress admitted that she felt timid when she saw a group of girls camped outside the set of her forthcoming HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce just to catch a glimpse of her.

“I’ve started to get fans now,” she said.

“It’s weird, I was on set and there were all these girls lined up on the sidewalk and I assumed they were all there forKate Winslet and they all shouted at the same time, ‘Evan Rachel Wood, we love you’ and I didn’t know what to say so I just said, ‘I love you too!’.

“I was so shy, that had never happened to me before.”

Evan recently revealed she is overcoming her fear of parading at premiers and award shows with a little help from her favorite reality TV show.

“I’m not a model, I always feel slightly awkward but I’ve been watching a lot ofAmerica’s Next Top Model and taking notes so I think I’m getting the poses down,” Evan said.

“But there’s still this whole big thing to get the perfect dress. I still feel more nervous about that than any awards.”
