Wyclef Jean has been shot in the hand in his native Haiti.
Rapper Wyclef Jean, who is currently in Haiti supporting presidential candidate and musician Michel Martelly, was shot on the eve of the elections in the city of Delmas.
The Fugees star had run for the presidential position himself but was disqualified, as he had not lived in Haiti for five years prior to the election.
Details of the shooting remain unclear but the musician
was rushed to hospital following the incident.
