Shania Twain Las Vegas concert?

Shania Twain is in talks to take on a concert run at Caesars, headlining whenCeline Dion is on a break.

John Meglen president of AEG, the producers of Celine’s show confirmed to The Las Vegas Sunnewspaper that while no contracts have been signed, the “talks are ongoing.”

Meanwhile, Twain’s OWN show, Why Not? With Shania Twain, will premiere May 8, the network announced Thursday.

The hourlong debut will air at 11 p.m. ET, immediately following The Judds finale.

The docuseries will follow Twain as she revisits her childhood home in Timmins, Northern Ontario, Canada and deals with the loss of both her parents in a devastating car accident and the poverty of her childhood.

She’ll also discuss the breakdown of her marriage after 14 years, and engagement and marriage to Frèdèric Thièbaud.

The series will chronicle her on a cross-country adventure with her bandmates and friends, meeting with vocal coaches and doctors to strengthen her voice.

Recent reports claimed Twain is determined to have a baby in 2011.

“Shania feels that having a baby with Frederic will make their new life complete,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Ideally, she’d like to carry the child herself, but due to her age she hasn’t ruled out having a surrogate or adopting.

“Her New Year’s wedding to Frederic symbolizes a new start for Shania with a baby by year’s end!”
