Ryan Phillippe is prepared to take a DNA test to determine if he is the father of his ex-girlfriend’s baby.
The American actor dated actress-and-model Alexis Knapp on and off for several months until September 2010, and she is now pregnant and claims the child she is carrying is his.
According to gossip website TMZ, the 36-year-old actor has no intention of shirking responsibility if the baby is his and intends to undergo a paternity test when the tot is born.
The child is reportedly due in June, and if Ryan is proven to be the father he intends to fully support Alexis and will play an active role in the baby’s upbringing.
