Robert De Niro isn’t one for social-networking.
The Hollywood actor says he’ll never join Twitter because he doesn’t feel the need to tell his fans what he is doing every minute of the day.
“I don’t Twitter or any of that stuff,” he said. “I don’t have a fan club or anything I talk to,” he said.
“Twitter’s not something I’m that into. I don’t get it and that’s okay.”
Robert recently insisted that, despite his many years making movies, he doesn’t have carte blanche to do as he pleases when it comes to projects.
De Niro notes the troubles and delays he experienced with The Good Shepherd, the 2006 CIA tale that he directed and starred in, saying doubts
he could make a similar film now. He says people don’t really want to do “those kind of movies” nowadays.
Still, De Niro says he does have a choice of roles that other actors would envy and that he “can’t complain.”
