
Rapper Nate Dogg has died.
The musician real name Nathaniel D. Hale passed away Tuesday after battling health issues for several years, according to TMZ. He was 41.
The hip-hop star who was famous for his smooth vocal collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Warren G.and Dr. Dre to name a few had survived strokes in 2007 and 2008.
The Press Telegram in Nate’s hometown of Long Beach, CA first reported his death late Tuesday night.
Others in the music industry appeared to confirm the news via Twitter.
Snoop Dogg tweeted, “RIP NATE DOGG. We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met.”
“There is a certain void in hip hop’s heart that can never be filled. Glad we got to make history
together,” tweeted Ludacris who worked with Nate Dogg on the song Area Codes.
