Mario Lopez fatherhood is thrilling and terrifying!

Mario Lopez says his life has changed since becoming a dad but insists “everything is great”.

The Extra host says the moment his 6-month old daughter Gia began crawling was both thrilling and terrifying.

“Now I’m worried about what she’s going to run into. I’ve got to childproof the house!” he said.

“Everything has changed. The way you look at life, the way you look at relationships, the way you approach everything.”

Of his relationship with baby mama Courtney Mazza, Lopez said, “Everything is great right now. We’re looking forward to marriage later on.”

Lopez recently revealed that he’s loving fatherhood.

“I love [being a dad] more than anything,” he said.

“I absolutely can’t wait to get home to see her she’s so amazing. The whole experience is so amazing.

“The biggest surprise about becoming a father was watching her being born because I didn’t know if she was going to be girl or a boy.

“The way Courtney was carrying and everything else, I had a feeling it was going to be a girl and I was right.

“I’m definitely hands-on, changing the diapers and everything.”
