Jessica Simpson credits her mother for success!

Jessica Simpson has put her billion dollar fashion empire down to her mother.

The singer, actress and reality TV star is expected to rake in record profits for her range of clothes, shoes and beauty products this year but says every dollar is down to her mom, Tina Simpson.

“I absolutely could not do this without my mom,” says Jessica. “I appointed her as creative director and we definitely do it together.

“I’m in most of the meetings, but if I’m off doing my music stuff I can always count on my mom to be in every approval meeting and make sure that everything is cohesive and brand-appropriate. I couldn’t do it without her.”

Sources recently revealed that Simpson is being “tortured on a daily basis” as she prepares for her upcoming wedding.

The singer/actress and reality TV star is being put through grueling daily sessions by celebrity fitness guru Tracy Anderson ahead of her forthcoming nuptials to American Football star Eric Johnson.

“Jess is being tortured on a daily basis,” said a source close to Simpson.

“She is doing everything from yoga to kickboxing and it’s leaving her exhausted.

“She’s been finishing sessions in tears but you can see the results. She’s going to be back to her Daisy Duke best only even fitter!”
