Jennifer Lopez urges lawsuit dismissal

Jennifer Lopez has urged a judge to dismissa $10m lawsuit brought against her for blocking production of a biopic about her ex-husband Ojani Noa.
The 'On The Floor' singer was sued by Noa, Claudia Vasquez and producer Ed Meyer after she took out an injunction to prevent the story of her first marriage reaching the big screen. 
Vasquez has since claimed that the move prevented her from producing and marketing How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo And Ojani Noa Story, which reportedly includes footage of theAmerican Idol judge "in sexual situations". 
Lopez argued in new legal papers that the film would damage her reputation, parody her relationship with Noa and release private information about her lifestyle at the time. 
Ace Showbiz quotes the 41-year-old as writing: "I believe that Noa's and Meyer's dissemination of private and intimate details about me, whether true or fabricated, and my alleged relationship with Noa and also their exploiting false and disparaging descriptions and lies about me are highly damaging to me and to my career in the entertainment industry." 
She added: "I believe that Noa will damage my reputation with movie producers and businesses which contract with celebrities for the use of their names, likenesses and spokesperson services for commercial endorsements, and may very well cause some members of the movie-going and record-buying public to think badly of me." 
Despite Lopez's determination to fight the film, Meyer confided in WENN his belief that the project will ultimately find an audience. 
"Jennifer Lopez can stall all she wants, but we are confident of a victory," he said. "The home videos will eventually be released for all of her fans to see."
Meyer is planning to appeal against the injunction in a March 22 court hearing.
Lopez was awarded $545,000 in 2007 after successfully suing Noa for writing a tell-all book about their 11-month marriage.
