Jake Gyllenhaal left battered and bruised!

Jake Gyllenhaal was left battered and bruised while filming his new movieSource Code.

The hunky actor  returns to action in the crime thriller but all did not go quite according to plan during one of the movie’s many stunts.

“I had to do a jump off of a train,” explains Jake. “I was like, ‘Don’t worry. I got it guys. I’m cool.’ And then I injured myself. You see it in the movie when I jump off the train and then my legs go up and then I land on my shoulder. It was kind of an intense impact on my shoulder.”

Jake recently revealed he collects cook books.

“I’ve always loved cooking, probably because my father and other always cooked,” he said.

“I have a massive section in my library at home of beautiful old cook books. I really have a strange obsession with them.”
