Debbie Reynolds has spoken out on Elizabeth Taylor’s death insisting she’s glad her longtime friend and rival actress is not feeling pain anymore and is in a better place.
Reynolds talked to Taylor who died Wednesday at the age of 79 from complications of congestive heart failure two weeks ago and said she was in a lot of pain.
“We were friends since we were 17,” Reynolds told Access Hollywood.
“Elizabeth was always a young, great star. We had a lot of fun together. I was at her wedding with Mike Todd and went through all different turbulent times and even gave her my husband for goodness sake!
“No one else could equal Elizabeth’s beauty
