The Spanish singer who’s dating Russian tennis star Anna Kournikova has revealed that he and his stunning girlfriend have no immediate plans to start a family, despite Anna gushing about how great a dad he would make.

“I love the idea [of being a father], although I don’t think now is the best time. Anna says I’d be a fantastic father, but I reckon it would mean there’d be two kids in the house!” Enrique said.

“Anna isn’t pregnant, and on top of that I don’t think it’s necessary to be married. Anna and I are happy as we are. I don’t think getting married will necessarily make me any happier. But she does love children and she’ll make a great mom.”

Enrique has previously revealed he refuses to play tennis with Anna because she beats him every time.

“I’ve played her but never again,” he said. “I didn’t even get close.

“My brother is a good tennis player and he was like, ‘I can do it, I can do it’ but he never got close either. Never again.”

The character had been portrayed by a long line of actresses who played Marple as an elderly spinster who cracked crimes in her spare time.

Christie wrote 12 mystery novels starring Miss Marple, beginning in 1930. The character inspired several motion pictures and a long-running BBC series.

Garner has previously revealed that she refuses to “starve” herself to lose weight.

Oprah Winfrey has announced the day that she’ll be saying goodbye.

Winfrey’s Harpo Productions said Monday that the last edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show will air on May 25.

Oprah who recently launched her own TV network announced in 2009 that the show’s 2010-11 season, its 25th, would be its last.

Winfrey has previously revealed how the Harpo team, including President Sheri Salata, had been planning the last two episodes of her show.

“I’m allowing for Sheri and the team to plan two days of full surprises,” Winfrey said.

“I’ve given up control for the last two days. It’s a lot to relinquish. I had to pray on that … and get a guarantee from Sheri there would be no strippers or dancing people coming out of shells.”

Madonna being sued over school!

Madonna is being sued after she decided to “discontinue” plans to build a school for girls in Malawi.

The granny hitmaker is the subject of legal action by eight workers who were fired when the singer replaced the board of directors with a caretaker panel who are seeking compensation for unpaid wages after she terminated plans to build an academy in the African country through her Raising Malawi foundation.

“Their employment was terminated by the trustees of Raising Malawi Academy for Girls ostensibly following the change of plan not to build the school as planned,” said lawyer Mzondi Chirambo.

“My clients are also being forced to sign a discriminatory termination agreement before they are paid their benefits.

“We are claiming unpaid salary and benefits. The workers live here. The court will decide. It’s not our policy to comment further.”

Mr. Chirambo added that one of his clients is Dr. Anjimile Oponyo, the school’s recently sacked CEO and says the singer who pledged to build the school when she adopted son David, now five, from the country in 2006 has 14 days to respond to the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Michael Berg who co-founded the charity Rasing Malawi with the pop star and the Kabbalah Center International in Los Angeles, were named in an unrelated recent lawsuit alleging mismanagement of funds intended for children’s education in Los Angeles.

A wealthy California woman sued Mr. Berg, his family and the center last month claiming she made a $498,000 donation to create an organisation for children to learn about Kabbalah which never materialized, the New York Daily News reports.

While in New York, a federal grand jury is reportedly investigating finances connecting the Berg family, the Kabbalah Centre and Raising Malawi .

As well as David, Madonna also adopted now six-year-old Mercy from Malawi in 2009, joining her other children Lourdes, 14, and Rocco, 10.

Charlie Sheen banned from hotels!

Charlie Sheen is reportedly not welcome at a number of top New York hotels.

The troubled actor is said to be looking to book a private apartment when he performs his Violent Torpedo of Truth stage show next month as facilities including the Waldorf-Astoria and the Trump Soho in the city don’t want him there following an incident last year, when a panicked porn star Charlie was partying with called hotel security when he started smashing up a room at the New York Plaza hotel.

“Many of the big New York hotels don’t want the drama,” a source said.

“He is now looking at renting a private residence.”

Representatives for all hotels declined to comment.

The star is due to appear in the city for his Violent Torpedo of Truth tour on April 8, and a source close to him insists his accommodation problems are more down to his personal requirements than finding somewhere he is welcome.

“The real issue is finding him a hotel that allows smoking. He has to be able to smoke,” a source said.

“And it’s hard to find a place that will accommodate him, plus his entourage that will be more than 30, including the lighting people and of course the goddesses.”

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old actor has been given a court date where he will be able to argue his $100 million lawsuit against Warner Brothers television and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre should be heard in open court.

The actor filed the suit claiming he had been unfairly being sacked from the show, and also on behalf of the crew for not being paid to the unmade last eight episodes in the final series.

Warner Brothers and Chuck have argued that Charlie’s contract calls for a private arbitration panel to settle the dispute, but a Los Angeles judge has now set a date of April 19, when both sides will make their case in court.

However, it isn’t a new offense the alleged incident that led to the arrest happened 8 years ago, according toTMZ.

Steve-O was stopped by customs when he got off an airplane at Calgary International Airport when officials noticed there was an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

The warrant was issued back in 2003 for an incident in which Steve-O allegedly attacked somebody with an unknown object. The identity of the victim is unclear.

Steve-O was placed behind bars for a short while before going in front of a judge. He was eventually released on $10,000 Canadian ($10,216.60 U.S.) bail, which was paid in cash.

Lea Michele involved car crash!

Lea Michele was involved in a car crash on Friday morning.

The 24-year-old Glee actress who plays Rachel Berry in the Fox television series was involved in a smash with another vehicle while driving down Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles on her way home from work, but is said to be doing “fine”.

“Lea was hit and notified the police,” her rep said. “She was not injured and is fine.”

Despite Lea emerging from the incident relatively unscathed, an onlooker explained she quickly noted down the other car’s details when she became aware she had been hit by a “couple of drunk girls”.

“A couple of drunk girls hit her, got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said something like, ‘Are you drunk, too?’ Then they drove off,” an onlooker said.

This isn’t the first time the brunette beauty has been involved in a car crash.

“For my second audition I got into a massive car wreck, left my crashed car in the street and ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair,” she said. “And then on the final audition, I had the worst neck ache from the car accident.”

Shania Twain talks Canadian talent!

Shania Twain downplayed her own accomplishments as she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during Sunday night’s (March 27) Juno Awards in Toronto.

“I’m really so proud of Canada’s talent,” she said. “I sit here tonight in the audience and I watch these amazing artists up here on the stage world class talent, songwriters, singers and performers.

“We should be proud of these people. They’re just blowing me away. I guess I have more pride in what the country has created musically than I am of my own success. Honestly, I’m just more proud to be from Canada. I feel like I should be wearing the Canadian flag tonight.”

Twain recently opened up about her new OWN show Why Not? with Shania Twain!

The series which is scheduled to premiere on the Oprah Winfrey Network in Canada on May 27 follows Twain as she “sets out on a tour of healing, sharing and rediscovering her voice” after travails in her personal life and career.

“This journey is about learning learning about myself, growing, coming to terms with a lot of things,” Twain says.

“I have lost my ability to express myself and my ability to sing. For some reason, I’m not comfortable singing in front of people anymore.”

Twain also confesses in the video that the pressures of her career got to her and made her lose her confidence at a time when her marriage to her ex, Robert (Mutt) Lange, was crumbling.

“I was really getting quite obsessive about my own pain, my struggle and I just had to snap out of it,” she said.

Recent reports claimed Twain is determined to have a baby in 2011.

“Shania feels that having a baby with Frederic will make their new life complete,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Ideally, she’d like to carry the child herself, but due to her age she hasn’t ruled out having a surrogate or adopting.

“Her New Year’s wedding to Frederic symbolizes a new start for Shania with a baby by year’s end!”

Jessica Simpson wants US X Factor job!

Jessica Simpson would “definitely” love to be a judge on the US version ofThe X Factor.

The singer-and-actress is one of a number of stars being considered to join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on the panel when the show launches Stateside and the blonde beauty admits the opportunity would be a “lot of fun”.

“They have definitely talked to me about X Factor,” Jessica said. “I think it would be a lot of fun. It’s definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people’s dreams come true.”

Jessica who was previously married to Nick Lachey got engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson last November but insists the couple have no plans to tie the knot in the near future.

“No date has been set yet,” she said. “We’ve both been married before. We’re enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time.

“I will be part of designing my own wedding gown. We might elope if it gets to that point.”

Eric, 31, had his divorce from Keri Johnson who he was married to for five years finalized just a month before he proposed to Jessica, who he has dated since May 2010.

Michael Douglas looks healthy!

Michael Douglas is still on the mend.

The actor who recently got the all clear from cancer looked “healthy” while eating with two male friends at New York’s Monkey Bar and being congratulated by other diners about his recovery, according to New York Postgossip column Page Six.

Douglas’ representative Allen Burry recently told RadarOnline that the actor’s health is “continuing to improve”.

“He’s doing fine, his health continues to improve and I can see the difference,” Burry said.

However, despite his health now improving the star who has children Dylan, 10, and seven-year-old Carys with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones is having regular check-ups and isn’t rushing back to work.

“He goes in once a month for a check-up, and he will do that for the first year,” Allen said.

“The appointments are just to monitor how he’s doing, and so far he’s clear, and they’re pleased with his improvement.

“It takes a while so he isn’t working yet, and won’t start doing movies until the fall.”

Around the time he announced his illness, Michael confessed he couldn’t forgive the doctors who at first failed to notice that he had a tumor.

“I understand it’s a very difficult cancer tumor to find,” he said.

“It was under the tongue and it’s unusual, but I’m still doing my homework on it. I would say I have not forgiven… stage two would have been nicer than stage four.”

David Letterman receives highest honor at Comedy Awards!

David Letterman received the highest honor at the first annual US Comedy Awards on Saturday night.

The 63-year-old talk show host picked up the Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence at the ceremony at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Although David received the biggest accolade of the night, his series The Late Show With David Letterman lost out to The Daily Show With Jon Stewart in the Best Late Night Comedy Series category.

Other winners included Alec Baldwin, who picked up the gong for Best Comedy Actor in TV for his performances in 30 Rock and Tina Fey who was named Best Comedy Actress in Film for her role in Date Night.

Eddie Murphy took home one of the top honours of the night when he was named Comedy Icon for his stand-up and movie career which has spanned over three decades.

TV show Modern Family picked up two prizes, for Best Comedy Series and Best Comedy Directing in TV, while 30 Rock was recognized for Best Comedy Writing in TV

Saturday Night Live star Kristen Wiig was the winner in the Best Comedy Actress in TV category for her hilarious skits which include her famous Miley Cyrusimpersonation and Zach Galifianakis was named Comedy Actor in Film for Dinner for Schmucks.

The winners were selected by a body of invited members of the comedy community, including Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Rivers and Chris Rock.

TV network Comedy Central hosted the event and it will be broadcast on April 10.
